January       2026    Limited Availability

February     2026     Available

March          2026     Available

April             2026     Available

Where there is limited availability, it is usually because I am on call for a birth. I am still able to accomodate private individual classes during this period but such an appointment may be cancelled at short notice, where I would then reschedule as soon as I am able to, usually within the next few days.

Individual  bespoke classes within your own home or via zoom.

Please refer to my one off consultation services and charges.

These private and bespoke classes include lending out birth aids such as a Birthing / peanut ball, and receiving a complimentary acupressure comb. You can also have a free T.E.N.S machine on loan specifically designed to support you through prodromal labour (whilst your labour is developing and establishing)  and through active labour (surges that lead up to the birth of your baby). This will include brand new electrode pads and batteries free of charge.

You will in addition, receive high quality wellbeing birth support and early parenting items for both you and your newborn free of charge as part of my private one to one package.

Having these custom made gift packs act as a gentle prompt and reminder in preparing for your birth and afterwards. Indeed this gives many ideas and inspiration for one's own prepation too.  Not forgetting Dads, I provide well written evidence and experience based material specifically tailored for Fathers so you can feel even more confident as a Dad to your newborn and an excellent support for your partner.

Birth Preparation and Early Parenting - what are the benefits?

  • Access to helpful visual resources and simple birthing aids to support you through part or all of your birth. This will also include hints and tips of how to make up a mum and baby well being pack for labour, colostrum harvesting and much more.

  • I specifically design my classes and all content to include men (a hugely untapped wealth of talent !!) I therefore have specific resources for them including things like a Dad wellbeing pack and  a' to do list' so your partner is totally prepared and ready to support you, before during and after birth.

  • You get to ask lots of questions to an experienced midwife who has supported hundreds of Mums through every kind of birth imaginable for over 2 decades  in various locations from within the home environment to midwife stand alone units, birthcentres in hospital and Consultant led units.

  • You get to meet other parents

  •  You and your partner will understand the birth process and how  the body will be trying to do during labour and birth. This knowledge enables and empowers you both to make the right choices for you and your baby

  • You will feel more in control and therefore cope better. You are less likely to have unecessary medical intervention. Should any medical support/ treatment be needed, you will be able to work with this better and have more say about when and how it should be done, if at all.

Birth Preparation and Early Parenting - what to expect and what you need

The content  will be loosley structured but flexible enough to accommodate  your specific needs. This is another reason why I keep the group to a maximum of 6 couples so everyone has a chance to ask and discuss questions. It is important that you feel relaxed and comfortable. Light simple refreshments will be provided.

Opportunity for Questions.

I have incorporated short tasks and fun game activities throughout the course that will naturally lead into open question and discussion times.  Feel free to stop me and ask questions at any point.

What You will need for the course..

Birth ball and mat. These will be provided including rebozo cloths but you may wish to bring your own.

Comfy pillows….Choose two of your most comfortable pillows that you can use during our active birth session. Using them will help act as a reminder of the labour and birth positions you learnt and what felt best for you, when you actually go into labour.

Wear clothing and footwear, you will feel comfortable in when practising our birth and relaxation  positions.

Pen and paper and some bravery! to do some simple birth affirmation colour crafts

Birth Preparation and Early Parenting - what we will cover

Weeks 1 - 4

Weeks 5- 6

Depending on the wishes of the group, I will organise a postnatal after birth celebration tea party which will be one month after the latest expected baby arrival date.
